명동을 몇 년만에 갔다가 우연히 태극기 집회를 보고 깜짝 놀랐다. 생각보다 인원이 많아서 놀라고 간간이 젊은 사람도 있어서 놀랐다. 자세히 보니 전국 각지에서 올라왔는지 각 지역 깃발을 들고 있었다. 시끄럽기도 시끄럽고 말도 안 되는 문구를 적은 플래카드에 제일 궁금했던 건 성조기는 대체 왜 드는 거죠? 그것이 알고 싶다. 길 다 막아서 교통 체증 일으키는 것도 민폐고, 누가 시켜서 저런 짓을 하는 건지 궁금할 뿐이다. 지나가던 외국인들 다 사진 찍던데 창피하다, 창피해.
